COLUMBUS - Ohio State coach Jim Tressel has agreed to contract revisions that will make him the highest-paid football coach in the Big Ten.

Tressel's compensation beginning in February will be $3.5 million, a $1 million increase, the school said yesterday.

Tressel will receive annual increases of 3 percent to 4 percent. He has a 73-16 record at Ohio State and is under contract until 2013.
